During my time at Iron Creative, one of the clients I spent the most time working on was Levi Strauss and Co. I would design a myriad of sizes for each banner design to be used on Macy’s, JC Penny, Kohl’s, Amazon, and other retailers’ websites.
Here you’ll find a sampler of pieces that I worked on, from eCommerce ads, to business-to-business emails, to out-of-home advertising.

One of my banner designs featured on the Macy’s Levi’s storefront.
As the Marketing & Branding Director at Peak Beverage, I was responsible for the majority of the look and feel of the Denver liquor store. From designing external signage, internal sign hierarchies, to displays and decor.
I also designed any collateral that we used for the liquor store or for the beverage catering company. Whether that be billboards, print ads, social ads, direct mailers, brochures, etc.
On the digital side, I redesigned the Peak Beverage website from the ground up on Squarespace, creating forms and HubSpot automations for our sales pipeline.
During my time at Peak Beverage, I started a series of cocktail videos with our bartenders. These were primarily shared on Instagram.
During my time at Iron Creative, I worked with fellow designers on above-the-fold and below-the-fold Amazon A+ content for Schwinn bikes.
We created all of these assets in Figma in both desktop and mobile sizes. I was tasked with translating the original design between desktop/mobile, the finishing touches, proper frame setup, and exporting. See the live page here.
Here I utilized Figma automation skills to produce hundreds of image assets to be used on Amazon A+ pages for Adidas.
In this case, image templates had already been prepared, so it was a matter of running an accurate Figma automation with spreadsheets and the Scribe plugin, then fine-tuning the design of the content.
At Iron Creative we tackled this across three or four batches, and I prepared the client presentations as well.
For Iron Creative’s Mongoose account, I became well-versed in the automation plugin Scribe for Figma. We needed to produce 7 highlight images for 33 different bike models for Mongoose’s Amazon pages.
In the first image, you’ll see the layout that I created within Figma to automate our presentation process — it proved to be a much faster and more accurate method than pulling each image into an InDesign presentation as we had in past projects.
Over the course of this project, I also gained more expertise in masking to remove backgrounds from some of the bikes that hadn’t been prepped.
AELIN BRANDING & WEBSITE
aelin is a financial tech startup that connects small business owners and banks with tools to streamline the process of securing loans.
I had the opportunity to design the brand identity from the ground up. I worked closely with the founder to establish the brand colors, fonts, logo, and then to translate those elements into a cohesive website with Squarespace: aelin.ai
aelin is her own personality, an artificial intelligence with feminine energy, exhibiting the brand archetype of the sage, with a hint of clever wit. We worked together to develop her tone to create a brand that exuded flair while maintaining the sense of security found in the financial sphere.
LEVITY BRANDING
A client had decided to launch a new digital content marketing agency and was in need of a branding suite to complement it. She supplied her first take on the logo and her chosen shade of purple, and I got to run with it. We wanted to impart a light-hearted tone, for a brand that doesn’t take life (or content creation) too seriously.
FOX MOSES
In this project, I designed the album cover artwork for the local Denver rock band Fox Moses’ new EP, “FM Hall.” FM Hall is an older building in the RiNo district of Denver directly across from the band’s rehearsal space, so I wanted to portray the building in a moody, grungy sort of light for the artwork.
The project also led to my redesign of the band’s logo.
HUMBLE GROWTH LOGO
This design was created for a fractional marketing executive that I had been working with as a consultant. Humble Growth’s ethos is “Growth without Ego” to enable and empower teams.
DESERT BLOOM BREWERY
For this logo, I wanted to pay homage to my Arizona roots and develop a desert-themed brewery. The misconception is that there are not wildflowers or an abundance of life in the desert, and I wanted to challenge that with my logo design.
BON VIVANT MAGAZINE
For this project, I designed my own food magazine based on the premise of a higher-end publication, produced less frequently, with far fewer ads than typical newsstand magazines. I also designed a tablet edition, considering how readers would best interact with the pages on a digital platform. All of the photography, apart from the ads, is my own.
BEST OF CSU
In October of 2017, I served as the designer for Rocky Mountain Collegian's Best of CSU publication. The magazine serves as the main fundraiser for student media, as a survey is sent to students to determine the best restaurants and stores in Fort Collins, and the winning shops pay to advertise. The free publication was placed around campus and downtown Fort Collins.
I was able to develop the year's Best of CSU seal, choose the colors, fonts, and branding as well as execute all of the layout design aside from advertisements. Fellow student Melissa Leavenworth served as the writer and editor, and our photographers were Wisdom Senolos and Nathan Daine. View the full publication here.
In addition, College Media Business & Advertising Managers awarded the publication Third Place for Best Special Section.
UKEFEST BROCHURE
Swallow Hill Music hosts an annual UkeFest, with ukulele concerts and workshops. I was tasked with designing the brochure to showcase all of the upcoming acts and classes at the 2022 event. I was provided artwork for the cover from the existing poster, color theme, and fonts.
BOOK COVER
The White Plague is a science fiction novel about a plague that wipes out most of the women on the planet and how that plague came to fruition. The original cover (pictured at the bottom), reads as more of a fantasy story — more Tolkien than a dystopian future. I wanted to approach the cover in a scientific way and included an inverted cover beneath the dust jacket to symbolize the darkness behind the name of the plague. For this project, I shot my own photography for the cover art.
ANGRY FLORIST FLYER
After moving to Portland, I became acquainted with a flower shop owner who had some marketing ideas that she needed help with. To promote her floral arranging workshop, she tasked me with designing a flyer that could be posted around town.
POP-UP GREETING CARD
For this project, I wrote food puns and chose my favorites to illustrate a colorful, eye-catching pop-up card that would be appropriate for friends and significant others alike.
Both the rolls on the cover and back as well as the inner soy sauce bottles were my own illustrations.
PORTRAIT ILLUSTRATION
This illustration pays tribute to the late influential oceanographer Jacques Cousteau. I really wanted to capture his time in the sun, as well as his characteristic accessories — the bright orange-red beanie, his pipe and his classic blue chambray shirt.
TAILGATING ILLUSTRATION
For this piece, I had a client looking to create some artwork for a sponsored collegiate tailgate. I used Adobe Fresco on my iPad Pro.
ENCHANTED EVENING INVITATION
This piece was a Photoshop extravaganza! RE Construction was hosting its annual holiday party with an enchanted forest theme, so I used multiple elements to create a fairy, twinkle lights, glowing flower, night scene etc. to their exact specifications for a printed invitation as well as an emailed save the date.
COLORADO EVENT ALLIANCE
During my time at Peak Beverage, I served as the Web Chair for the nonprofit Colorado Event Alliance that my CEO helped to create. I assisted by designing the foundation’s website, setting up donations and registration, and creating marketing emails to notify members of upcoming Zoom conferences with the local government regarding event restrictions due to COVID-19.
We helped to raise considerable funds for event employees that were out of work due to the pandemic and helped to foster a safer return to event hosting in Colorado.
ANIMAL RESCUE
Yavapai Humane Trappers Search & Rescue is an animal rescue organization located in my hometown. They had been running their nonprofit primarily via a Facebook group, and were looking to create a more professional presence so that they could apply for grants.
I worked with the volunteers to create a website that met a variety of their needs — accepting donations, giving credit to the team, posting events, and most importantly, forms for foster and adoption applications.
The full website has changed drastically since my design, but you can view the full website here.
CUSTOM BEER LABEL
For this project, I designed a custom beer label for a couple’s wedding. The client was friends with the owner of Stable 12 Brewing Co., and a custom brew was being crafted just for their wedding. I worked with the bride-to-be to determine the style and content that she was looking for, and finished the project with a tight timeline.
JUNIPER DISTILLING PACKAGING
Juniper Distilling consists of a line of gins, tonics, syrups and bitters. For the packaging, I wanted to create an elegant design with an element of subtle botanic whimsy, which can be seen through the bottle.
WINE LABEL | MR. Z'S FABULOUS FRANC
My mother and godparents have a hobby of making their own wine, and they like to feature one of their pets for each new batch. For this 2022 wine, we featured their late horse Mr. Z. I had a lot of fun making this label for them to commemorate their beloved pet!
THE PLEDGETTES
The Pledgettes is a financial community for values-driven women. They were in need of some fresh templates for their social media and Eventbrite to market their upcoming financial events. I created Instagram and Eventbrite templates for them in Canva, utilizing their existing brand standards. I also supplied them with a review of their existing brand, along with suggestions.
ANNA CATE WHOLE HEALTH
Anna is a health and wellness coach who is expanding her coaching practice. I designed a variety of graphics around her content, as well as fillable worksheets and podcast cover art.
DENVER MARKETING MAVENS
A Denver group that I’ve been quite involved with over the past couple of years has been the Denver Marketing Mavens. I was approached by the founder to design this t-shirt in conjunction with their annual salary survey, which polls women working in marketing in the Denver area about their finances. This survey is also associated with another women’s group that focuses on finance in the area, The Pledgettes. The shirt is available in sweatshirts and onesies as well, and is available for purchase here.
PUTTING THE REVOLUTIONARY IN FIDUCIARY
This T-shirt design was for a group of female financial advisors. It was so fun to take their message of female empowerment in the financial world and translate it into a design their team could wear with pride.
MCD GLOBAL ANNUAL REPORT
MCD Global Health prides itself on “improving the health and well-being of people around the world.” I was tasked with the design of their annual report documenting the progress and outreach they had completed over the past year. MCD had new brand guidelines, and this was the first report to be designed within the new branding.
COVERT FOREIGN MONEY ASD REPORT
The Alliance for Securing Democracy periodically publishes in-depth reports that are available on its website as well as to the press. I designed the August 2020 report entitled “Covert Foreign Money,” a 108-page report with 1,492 footnotes. The cover and map design were by Kenny Nguyen.
PARKER ARTS CULTURAL PLAN
Parker Arts was in need of a designer for their 5-year cultural plan under a very tight deadline. I was able to brand and design the entire document within 3 days, theming the booklet based on the architecture of the building and variations of the organization’s logos. See the plan on their website here.
TTEC CULTURE BOOK
While freelancing for TTEC, I was tasked with designing the first section of the company culture book. They wanted a playful sort of design to pull in new and potential employees, so the team and I collaborated on ideas. I developed the character/paragraph styles and layouts and built out the first section before the rest of the project went to the internal design team.
CSU FACULTY COUNCIL REPORT
During my time with CSU External Relations, I was tasked with finding a better way to present the accomplishments of the varying faculty councils on campus. I made the report more visually focused, and it was used to present the successes and progress of these councils across campus.
EMAIL MARKETING BEST PRACTICES WORKSHOP
I had the pleasure of presenting my knowledge on Email Marketing Best Practices for the Oregon Certified Economic Developer program, a course offered by the Oregon Economic Development Association. After my presentation, we did a little workshop where I gave feedback on participants' drafted subject lines and preview text.
AIGA MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
AIGA Portland runs an annual mentorship program for college students, and in 2022 I assisted with branding the year’s program, as well as assigning mentors with mentees. This presentation is from our kickoff meeting with the participants.
PEAK BEVERAGE LIQUOR STORE LAUNCH
A few of the slides that I designed in pitching my marketing strategy for the launch of our new liquor store.
While working at Margo, I crafted this presentation and video walking clients through the process of creating a custom email signature.
