As a journalism grad and former yearbook nerd, I’ll always have a soft spot for print. Bon Appétit Magazine inspired my love of design, journalism, and food as I was growing up.
Bon Vivant was my take on an upscale food publication. I designed the issue with my own photography, and translated it to a digital variation for tablet reading.
Best of CSU is produced by Rocky Mountain Student Media annually. For the 2017-2018 issue, I worked with photographers, writer, and an editor to design the publication. It was printed and distributed for free all across Fort Collins, CO. It's a major revenue generator — businesses all across the city paid for advertising.
Frank Herbert's "The White Plague" had an original cover that conveyed less of a Sci-Fi tale, and more of a fantasy story. For this redesign, I wanted to reflect the scientific, ominous nature of the novel.
Beneath the dust jacket, the reader would find this inverted design, a nod to the malignant plague.
Ukefest is an annual 3-day ukulele concert and workshop series presented by Swallow Hill Music.
The Angry Florist is a Portland-based flower and plant shop, specializing in dried arrangements.
