All pumpkin. All fall. If you’re wondering the best way to transition from your morning pumpkin spice latte in the evening, do I have the concoction for you! This pumpkin spice latte cocktail utilizes my pumpkin spice simple syrup for a grown-up ode to Autumn.
Ingredients
1.5 oz bourbon or vodka (bourbon will offer a more caramel-y flavor)
1 oz Pumpkin Spice Syrup
1/2 oz coffee liqueur (my favorite is Leopold Brother’s Frenchpress-style Coffee Liqueur)
1 oz oat milk (use any milk or alt milk you’d like, just my preference)
~optional 1/4 oz Frangelico to add an extra layer of richness with hazelnut
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker over one large ice cube. That way, there’s less opportunity for the ice to chip as you shake. Shake the cocktail until frosty. Strain into coupe or martini glass.
Optional: for an extra decadent rendition, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon!
